TOUR DESCRIPTION

To enter the Montmatre district in Paris is a little like entering a fairytale. One of the oldest quarters in Paris, full of cafes and places where artists like Picasso, Van Gogh, and Renoir used to live and meet.

You will meet with your kid-friendly guide outside the Blanche Metro Station for a wonderful 2 hour stroll through the Montmartre district. Montmartre was once a hill covered in windmills and vineyards where local artists could find cheap accommodation. It was here that the modern art movement started and you will see the very workshop where Picasso invented Cubism or where Inmpressionism started!

Your private guide will share with you and the kids interesting stories while playing games and organizing activities to keep the children occupied and engaged. You will not miss a stop at the famous Amelie Poulin grocery store, the “I love you wall” and several other places where you will know more about the area and the artists who lived there. You will also visit the Place due Tertre, the artists’ square, Saint Denis Square and also see the “passer through walls”. There are even a few of the original windmills and even a small vineyard.

The tour ends at the Sacre Coeur Church where you say goodbye to your guide and reflect on a memorable tour of this enchanting district of Paris!
